15th Annual Live & Silent Auction and Golf Classic & Tennis Tournament

It was a perfect day for the 15th Annual Live & Silent Auction and Golf Classic & Tennis Tournament. This year's Tennis Tournament was co-chaired by Fisher Island residents Barbara Goldin, Katie Stamen and Director of Tennis, Jon Hainline. The champion of this year's tournament was Andrew Gray. The finalist was Dianne Hudson. Tiffany & Co. of Bal Harbour donated the first place trophy.

This year's 15th Annual Golf Classic was co-chaired by Fisher Island Residents Veranda Dickens and Herb Dunn along with Jim Curran, Golf Director at The Links. The winner of the Men's Shoot-out was George Collins. The Ladies Shoot-out ended in a three way tie due to rain on the 8th hole. The winners of the Ladies Shoot-out were Jonlee Peterson, Joyce Whited and Alla Barash. The first place winning group for the Golf Tournament was Ruth Ann Marshall, Joyce Whited and Sam and Julie Rose. Tiffany & Co of Bal Harbour donated all first place trophies and Steve and Bobbi Berkman donated the second and third place trophies.

THE COLLECTION offered a Porsche Panamera as a prize for the hole-in-one challenge and also offered a Maserati Gran Turismo weekend loan for the person who got closest to the pin on hole 3. Joyce Whited won the Maserati Gran Turismo weekend loan. Unfortunately no one took home the Porsche Panamera.

This year's brilliant efforts at the auction raised approximately $100,000 due to our co- chairs Caryl Eisen, Pam Goldfaden and Marian Hymen. A special thanks to Barbara Zweig and Stan Smith, who were auctioneers for the live auction and brought a special energy to the event.

Sponsors for this year's function was Chartis, Chelsea Aviation Group/Orion Jet Center, Chopard, E-Z-G0, Fisher Island Club, Judith Ripka, Marsh, Morgan Keegan, MuseoVault, Regions Bank and SeaDream Yacht Club.
